Is your business ready to be changed by a fish tank?
In our society, where workplace anxiety is at an all-time high, businesses everywhere are trying to find ways to make their employees and clients more comfortable, less stressed, and more satisfied. What better way to do that than bringing new life into your workplace?
Here at Bea’s Buckets, it is our goal to make the numerous benefits of a commercial aquarium accessible to businesses that do not have the time available to learn how to care for and maintain a fish tank.
Aquariums in the office have been shown to provide considerable improvement to employees’ health and efficiency. Not only is the addition of moving water great for stress relief, but an office pet with low care needs provides an excellent conversation piece for your team to get to know each other better. It has also been recorded that the visual stimulation that fish provide can help to encourage creative problem solving.
A fish tank in your office or waiting area will also have a positive affect on people visiting your business. Whether you are trying to secure a new customer or client, bringing in candidates for interviews, or receiving patients, having an aquarium will make your space more inviting. On top of the stress relief of natural sounds and organic movement, a well kept fish tank will also show anyone entering into your business that you are willing to put in the effort to care for the living things in your office. When so many companies are presenting tech focused and analytical faces, you can stand out as a company that shows they care to see even the smallest things thrive!
These benefits are applicable to more than just offices! Restaurants that have a fish tank included in their decor often see better sales than restaurants without aquariums. This comes back to the fact that fish tanks often make customers feel more at home, and we all know that when a customer feels more comfortable, they will spend longer in your establishment. The longer your customers spend in your business, the more they will buy! A fish tank also helps to keep children entertained, resulting in fewer fits thrown in your business which creates a more relaxed environment for everyone!

FAQs
Can you do saltwater aquariums?
Unfortunately, not yet. It is our goal to tackle that particular beast someday, but currently, our team lacks the experience to run commercial saltwater tanks. We do have ways to make our freshwater tanks look a little bit more like a saltwater aquarium with lighting and decorations, but the chemical balancing of a saltwater system is not in the cards for us currently.
What areas do you provide your services to?
We are currently based in Newberg, Oregon, and most of our clients are within Yamhill County at the moment. We are open to discussing our services with any businesses within the Willamette Valley!
Do you charge a fee for travel costs?
As all of our current clients are within a half hour drive of our base of operations, no. If our reach begins growing significantly, we will need to consider adding a gas fee; but it is not something we have planned. For new clients outside of our current route, it would be discussed in our consultation.
What kinds of businesses can benefit from your services?
We have not found a business yet that would not be enhanced by an aquarium! Our favorite types of business to serve include but are not limited to: corporate offices, churches, libraries, restaurants, banks, car dealerships, therapists’ offices, repair shops, boutiques, veterinary clinics, hair and nail salons, dentists’ offices, hotels, retirement homes, classrooms, lobbies, jewelers, memory care facilities, tattoo and piercing parlors, wine bars, and medical offices.
Are you willing to take on more already established tanks?
Yes! But…
With our extensive knowledge in the aquarium industry, it is important that we have freedom to change what needs to be changed for the health of the tank when we start managing an established aquarium. This can mean anything from slight tech adjustments like a new light or stronger heater, to needing to rehome fish that are not safe to keep with each other. In situations like that, we will enter with an open mind, and we will prioritize matching your vision for the tank as much as we are able while keeping the health of the aquarium at the forefront.
